Booty Paintings - John Kacere

Once upon a time, American artist John Kacere was an abstract impressionist. Then he discovered his gift for painting large-scale booty.

Kacere (1920-1999) created big artworks – about three times the size of real life – of ladies' mid-sections (read: hips/thighs/booty) that are both super realistic and also a little bit saucy. Kacere's fondness for girls in lingerie revealed itself during the early '60s and although he didn't see himself as a photorealist, he's considered to be one of the pioneers of the style.
